Car Parking

The centre operates a pay and display system, however, there are only 18 spaces available. (see below for details)

Alternative Parking

Alternative parking is available along Victoria Avenue and Priory Road (pay and display is in operation not allied to swimming centre discount scheme), details of which are displayed by Shropshire County Council. We also have an arrangement with Shrewsbury Sixth Form College for parking out of college hours (excluding Saturdays where a small fee is charged by the college).

There are several short and long stay car parking sites within a five minute walking distance from the centre operated by the Borough Council. For details of parking within the town contact 01743 356628

Saturday: 8.00am - 4.00pm
Sunday / Public Holidays: 8.00am - 5.00pm

General Public (Till Admissions)

Car Park users pay a of 2.00 for maximum 2 hours parking or 4.00 for maximum 4 hours parking and receive a two part ticket. Part one is displayed on the vehicle, part two is presented to the reception desk for refund of deposit if appropriate.

On payment of:-
 1) A Centre admission fee having a minimum value of £5.80
 2) A parking fee of 40p
 3) Use of the facility allied to the admission class purchased.

The deposit is not refundable to those car park users who choose not to use the Centre facilities or who pay a Centre admission fee below the stated minimum value.
