Shropshire Arts Partnership

The Shropshire Arts Partnership (SAP) has representatives who are Local Authority Officers with responsibility for the Arts in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin, Curriculum Advisors for the Arts from the LEA and the Arts Council England West Midlands' Officer for Regional Partnerships.

The aims of the group are:

• To strengthen communication between District and County Council's and to network and support arts organisations, individuals artists, promoters and volunteers working in the Arts.
• To raise the profile of, and to advocate for, the Arts
  to coordinate Arts Activity across the Subregion.
• To maximise funding for the Arts within the Subregion
  Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council is a member of the Shropshire Arts Partnership.

SAP Database

Shropshire County Council administers on behalf of the partnership, the SAP database.  This is a database of contact details for artists based in the subregion, for which regular mailings are sent promoting local creative opportunities.
