West Midlands Regional Assembly

The Assembly is a voluntary body made up of 100 members drawn from the 38 local authorities that make up the West Midlands region, as well as representatives from the business sector and other social and economic groups ranging from trade unions to faith and community groups.
The Assembly works in partnership with the regional development agency Advantage West Midlands, the Government Office West Midlands, Regional Action West Midlands, the West Midlands Local Government Association and other regional and local organisations from across the West Midlands.
 
Shrewsbury and Atcham is Represented on the Assembly by Councillor Jo Jones
 

Shropshire Association of Local Councils

Based in Shrewsbury, this organisation provides liaison and services in relation to local councils - town and parish councils.
