Public Questions

The Council believes that Local Government should be as open and accessible as possible.  As part of its aim to achieve this objective, the Council's Constitution gives members of the public the opportunity to ask questions of Members of the Cabinet at ordinary meetings of the Council and Cabinet and to asked questions of the Chairman and make statements at ordinary meetings of the Overview and Scrutiny Committees.

Details of the Question Time Procedures as set out in Part 11 of the Constitution.  In respect of every question to be put a form must be completed and returned in accordance with the relevant procedure rules.
