The Policy Team is responsible for Policy, Performance Improvement and Communications.

 

The section supports the Chief Executive and the Council as a whole with policy development and advice on corporate and strategic issues.

 

We participate in a number of county-wide and regional networks and actively promote the Council and the Borough through internal and external communications and media relations.

 

We are developing the Council's performance management systems and are committed to promoting a culture of excellence through continuous improvement activities and co-ordinate activities in relation to the Beacon Awards.

 

We also organise events and seminars such as "The Shrewsbury Conference" and "Question Time".

 

The Policy Team is responsible for all public relations and publicity matters.
