Shrewsbury Conference 2003

Peter Nutting, leader of Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council says

"The Shrewsbury Conference is an effective way of getting your views across to the council.  We will also be taking a look at what the council has been up to during the year and what our plans are.  People who come to the event really do have an opportunity to influence the way the council tackles big issues."

Some of the issues people might want to raise:

  • Council priorities
  • Tourism
  • Britain in Bloom
  • Men with a broom
  • Estate wardens
  • Local plan review
  • Waste and recycling
