Shrewsbury Conference

The main purpose of this event is for the Council to inform and learn as to what matters to the public. The Conference is structured to enable the ruling administration (currently the Conservative Party) and the Council to inform the public on what impact their decisions has made on the local area and significant achievements made over the previous 12 months. The conference is also an opportunity to gauge public reactions and views on the Council's priorities and future plans.  Feedback from the public helps the Council formulate and develop its corporate policy and strategy framework, i.e. The Community Strategy and the Council's Corporate Performance and Improvement Plan.

The event is an excellent opportunity for the public to learn about how the Council is addressing their issues and providing services and facilities. It also provides an opportunity to address key issues with local Councillors and the Borough Council Chief Executive.
