The Council's Environmental Health service is responsible for ensuring that food sold in the Borough is safe, clean and fit to eat. All premises which prepare, produce, cook or sell food must comply with strict hygiene standards. You may view our Food Safety Law Enforcement Service Plan

Morrisons has withdrawn the Miramonte Ridge brand of Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc wines because they contain sulphites which are not mentioned on the label. This product is, therefore, a possible risk for people with a sensitivity to sulphites.
