Where to get Help

Within Shropshire, the NHS offers free help and advice to smokers who want to give up through the Help 2 Quit service. This service provides support to smokers as they give up, and can prescribe nicotine replacement therapy, if it is required.

This service can be accessed at the following locations:

All GP Surgeries - patients can contact their surgery in order to make an appointment with a Help 2 Quit nurse.

Pharmacies - Pharmacists at the following pharmacies are trained to provide the service. Patients should call to arrange an appointment.

Hospitals - Clinic for in-patients and out-patients at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. They can be contacted on 01743 261000 ext. 4464 bleep 980.
