Ants
The Borough Council provides an advisory service on the treatment of ants. The ants should be treated by the residents .
- As the weather becomes warmer and drier, ants become more active. To help control inside infestations, an application of residual insecticide should be used on the likely access areas (air vents, door and window frames, skirting boards etc).
- Aerosols can be purchased from hardware stores and various other outlets.
- Food, especially sweet substances should be kept out of reach of these invaders.
