Booklice

Booklice or Psocids

• Booklice or Psocids may be found in damp places, such as cellars, outhouses and new houses before the walls are dry.  Also may be found between sheets of paper and books, feeding on the glue and moulds growing on the paper and in cereal based foods which have been subjected to damp conditions. 

Control

Infested foodstuffs should be disposed of and storage cupbaords treated with an approved residual spray.  Physical control by way of drying damp areas should always be considered.
