    Off Street Parking

    The Council operates 12 car parks in the Borough, providing approximately 2645 spaces.  The enforcement of car parks is undertaken for the Borough Council by ParkRight. 
     
    Raven Meadows (Multi-storey) - Long Stay/Short Stay - open Mon-Sat 0700 to 2030 hours, Sun 1000 to 1700 hours
    • The Strand - Long Stay/Short Stay 
    • St Julian Friars - Long Stay
    • Abbey Foregate - Long Stay/Short Stay  
    • Frankwell Main - Long Stay/Short Stay
    • Frankwell Riverside - Short Stay - Up to 3 hours
    • Frankwell Quay - Short Stay - Up to 3 hours
    • Bridge Street - Short Stay - Up to 2 hours
    • Barker Street - Short Stay - Up to 2 hours (owner - Morris & Co)
    • St Austin's Street - Short Stay - Up to 2 hours
    • The Tannery - Short Stay - Up to 2 hours
    • The Quarry Swimming and Fitness Centre - Short Stay

    Car parks are "Pay and Display" except Raven Meadows Multi Storey, where a "Pay on Foot" system is in operation.

    Raven Meadows has specific opening times (see above for details), Frankwell car park entrance is open until 9:30 p.m. and has a 24 hour exit which does not permit entry. The remainder of the car parks are fully accessible 24/7.

    There are no concessions for holders of Disabled Blue Badges.  Parking tariffs can be viewed (available for printing) on the file below.

    Motorists are advised to note the regulation signs situated near pay machines.  Contravention of the regulations may incur a Penalty Charge Notice.

    Surface car park machines accept coins: 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2. No change given.

    Multi Storey pay on foot machines accept the coins above, plus £5, £10,or £20 notes.  Change is given.

     Quarry Swimming Centre Car Park: Pay & Display, Short Stay (Max 4 hours), 15 Spaces.
    Parking Charges: 0-2 Hours £2.00, 2-4 hours £4.00
    Partial refunds are available when purchasing Leisure Centre facilities
    Machine accepts coins: 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2.
    Monday to Friday 8.00am - 8.30pm.
    Saturday 8.00am - 4.00pm.
    Sunday 8.00am - 5.00pm
    No Coaches or HGV's
    Note: Parking tickets purchased at the machine in this car park are not transferrable to on-street parking bays (or vice versa).  If you park on-street in this area please purchase your parking ticket from an on-street pay machine.
