Public Conveniences

Work on determining an improvement programme for public conveniences has been temporarily deferred, pending our current operational priorities. Refer to Annex No 9 for Public Convenience provision, and technical data sheets.

During the course of the current financial year we will endeavour to establish a programmes to manage the process concerning:-

  • Refurbishment programme

  • Update/Review the revised cleaning schedule

  • Review of a new town centre facility

  • Maintenance and monitoring of utilities

  • Identification of potential sites/costings

Work on the recent town centre toilet facility incorporated within the SMART Complex is still under review.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Carry out a survey and review for public conveniences in accordance with 9.2/9.3 above.
