Shrewsbury Sports Village
Located in Sundorne, in the North-East part of Shrewsbury, the new sports village is the premier multi-sports facility in the area. It includes a wide range of outdoor facilites, including football pitches and a cycle track, as well as a good selection of indoor facilities, such as squash courts, and Shrewsbury's first climbing wall.The Quarry Swimming and Fitness Centre
The centre is the sole public swimming facility in Shrewsbury, occupying a superb town centre location on the perimeter of the Quarry. Consisting of four indoor swimming pools and an outdoor paddling pool.
An integral part of the centre is the Quarry Fitness Suite, which consists of a well equipped gymnasium, relaxation room and an aerobics / dance studio.
The centre also contains the Waterside Restaurant, serving hot and cold snacks and meals.
The main Quarry Pool is situated on the first floor and contains a 51 metre flume ride, diving boards, a movable bulkhead (used mainly for gala hire), electronic timing facilities and galleried spectator accomodation.
The Gymnasium and Relaxation Suite are situated on the first floor, which includes an spa bath, steam-room, sauna, showers and a communal area, complete with loungers and air conditioning.
The ground floor contains the three smaller pools, Teaching, Priory and Claremont, respectively, as well as the changing facilities for these pools and the Solarium Suite.
A child supervision service is available, where all pre-school aged children, including the very young are welcome.
London Road Sports Centre
London Road Sports Centre is a dual use facility currently provided in partnership between Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council and Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology. Access to facilities is shared with the Borough Council providing for general public access throughout evenings, weekends and college holiday periods.
Its facilities include a four-court multi-purpose sports hall, two-court sports hall, three-court floodlit outdoor multi-sport area and outdoor pitches.
The centre attracts in the region of 50,000 general public attendances per annum.

Grange Sports Centre
The Grange Sports Centre is a dual use facility provided in partnership between Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council, Shropshire County Council and the Grange School.
All facilities are based on the campus of the Grange School and include a four-court multi-purpose sports hall, multi-purpose gymnasium, two-court sports hall, outdoor multi-sport area, synthetic pitch and informal access to outdoor pitches.
The Centre attracts in the region of 35,000 general public attendances per annum.

Roman Road Sports Centre
Roman Road Sports Centre is a dual use facility provided in partnership between Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council, Shropshire County Council and Meole Brace School. Facilities consist of a three-court multi-purpose sports hall, floodlit full-size synthetic pitch, four-court multi-sport area and informal access to outdoor pitches. All facilities, with the exception of the four-court multi-sport area (Priory School), are based on the campus of Meole Brace School.
The centre attracts in the region of 50,000 general public attendances per annum.

Monkmoor Recreation Centre
Monkmoor Recreation Centre is a facility solely owned and administered by Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council. Facilities consist of six tarmac tennis courts, floodlit synthetic pitch, two croquet lawns, a bowling green, two senior and one junior football pitch, a skateboard and BMX park, a children's play area and a kick-about area. The Centre attracts in the region of 25,000 attendances per annum.

Recreation Grounds
We manage and co-ordinate sporting and formal leisure activity across twenty-two recreation grounds. Activities include: football, cricket, rugby, bowls, croquet, and tennis; amongst others.
Activities extend to promotion of special events such as the Disabled Cricketers Tournament, Kite and Boomerang Festival, Fairgrounds and Circus accommodation.
Facilities provided include multi-sports courts, hard tennis courts and a skateboard park.
Formal sporting access to recreation grounds attracts over 22,000 visits per year.
