Shrewsbury Sports Village Cycle Track

What is it?

The track is 1km long tarmac circuit enclosed within the Sports Village grounds. The track is illuminated and opens all year round.

Who can use it?

Public, clubs and groups are all welcome.  The cycle track is available to be used during the normal operating times of the Sports Village. Cycling is not the only use for the track, it is ideally suited for running or walking.

Are there any clubs?

Junior Clubs/Coaching

'Excel' Junior and Teen club on a Tuesday evening 4.00pm -5.00pm and 5.00pm-6.00pm respectively. These introductory clubs into the world of cycling lead on to our Academy club on a Saturday morning 11.00-12.00.

Senior Clubs

This main club use of the cycle track is the Mid Shropshire Wheelers. They are the only club in the county to have a junior and senior sections. Their junior section is a outlet for any academy children who wish to develop their cycling further.

10.00am - 6.00pm

Adult: £2.20

Junior: £1.10

Exclusive Hire: £32.00
