What is the Passport to Leisure?
Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council's Passport to Leisure Scheme was introduced to allow those of our community who are in receipt of benefits the opportunity to access leisure activities at a reduced cost. All activities operated by Shrewsbury Leisure are subject to a 50% discount for Passport To Leisure holders (see individual price lists).

Who is eligible?
To become a Passport to Leisure holder you must be a resident of Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough and pay your council tax to Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council and be in receipt of some form of benefit other than Child Tax Credit. If you are in receipt of any benefit not listed you may still be eligible contact (01743) 281572. Dependants and spouse/partner of a qualified recipient can also receive a passport. There is a charge of £1.00 per passport issued.

How can you get the Passport to Leisure?
Passport to Leisure (PTL) is issued from The Quarry Swimming Centre, all of SABC Leisure Centres, and Shrewsbury Sports Village. Please note: Tht Visitor Information Centre no longer issues PTL.
Procedure
- Complete your application form (Find online version below).
- Provide proof of identification which includes a full postal address and signature e.g. Drivers Licence.
- Proof of eligibility as detailed above.
- Pay £1.00 fee for each Passport issued.
- Your Passport will be processed within minutes.
