Teacher, Coach and Sports Official Development Fund

Many teachers, coaches and officials working in Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough are volunteers, working in their own time, at their own expense. The Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council and Shrewsbury and District Sports Advisory Council (SADSAC) see great value in the time and effort that these people contribute to helping children and young people in the area. As such, SADSAC has established The Development Fund to support them.

The main aims of The Development Fund are;

• To contribute towards the cost of individuals getting National Governing Body teaching, coaching, officiating and general supporting awards.
  
• To provide funding to help local clubs set up their own coaching award schemes.
  
• To encourage people that are helped by the scheme to use their skills in various ways.

Applicants who may be eligible for help can complete the appropriate application, and return it to us. (See contact details below.)

For further advice and assistance, (including the next Executive Committee meeting, where applications will be considered) may be obtained by prior contact with the Secretary.

The maximum grant payable is £150 per individual and £750 per club, in any one financial year April - March.
