Habberley Conservation Area

The village of Habberley is located approximately eight miles south west of Shrewsbury on a minor road off the A488, in the Parish of Pontesbury.  The Habberley Conservation Area was designated on September 28, 1987, and centres on the Church of St Mary and the development along the road that runs through the village, stretching out to include the grounds of Habberley Hall and the fields that surround the built up area.

The following document contains a full appraisal of the Habberley Conservation Area. The purpose of the document is to identify those parts of the Conservation Area that should be preserved and enhanced. It also contains proposals for improvement.
