Q9.1 Are these objectives still relevant to the Plan review? If not, how should they be amended?

Q9.2 Should developers be required to contribute to the costs associated with wider community benefits?

Q9.3 Does your local community lack any essential facilities? If so, what facilities are lacking?

Q9.4 Should policies seek to protect existing community facilities from other uses?

Q9.5 If development is permitted in flood risk areas, should policies require developer contributions to flood protection schemes?

Q9.6 How should policies promote the development of Renewable Energy sources whilst protecting the quality of our local environment?

Q9.7 How should the Plan address the need to improve air quality in these areas?

General comments on Infrastructure Issues

Officers and Members of the Council are currently considering all the responses received, together with the results of a number of surveys / background studies, and will be producing draft Development Plan Documents for public conusultation, as part of the new Local Development Framework, later in 2004. Once a formal timetable has been approved this will be posted on this web site, in the meantime Officers will endeavour to keep those who have already made representations informed of progress.
